A warm thank you goes out to all the bidders of the auction. I had a wonderful and rewarding time creating. I only wish that more money was raised but, I guess as they say, every penny counts.

My craft challenge is over, but bidding goes on.

I must say I was met with some extra challenges this year. March was not kind in the way of colds and stuffy noses. I did my best to bring myself to craft everyday but somedays the time just slipped away taking care of everything and everyone else.

I posted my final item but that does not mean the bidding is over. Please help the Family Crisis Center by bidding on the items that are remaining.

day 30 shield pendant

This challenge has been harder than I thought - I have been really having a hard time creating this last week. So, today I decided to just play around with three colors of clay and nothing more. I choose the lime green because I have seen it everywhere lately from spring fashions to home accents.

Chain can be made to any length for winner.

day 27 - finally back

I have to appoligize for not keeping to my promise. The cold season hit my house hard. After catching up other obligations I finally had time to head to the studio. The long break did make it hard to get back in the swing. Feeling very uninspired I did manage to pull this together.

This is for a great cause and I have only raised $82 so far. That is well below my goal of $500. Some of these items would normally sell for $40 easily. I know that the economy has effected a lot of people, me included, but please consider how otherwise blessed you are and help a great organization!

Day 20 - Garden Journal

Everyone that gardens needs a journal. I think this one is masculine enough for the male gardener in your life.

I did this one with Angelina Foil and a Lisa Pavelka texture sheet. The color changes depending on the angle. It can be blue, to green then reddish gold.

I love this color so I just couldn't resist playing with it one more day. Here is a fun pair of earrings.

I have to admit, I intended this to be for Sunday only but I had a really busy weekend on top of not feeling very well. I made the polymer clay part on Sunday and finished it today. Necklace is 16", ring is adjustable.

If you are paying attention you noticed that I didn't post anything for day 8... well that is because I spent the day sculpting this face. I then made a mold so that I could duplicate. So, I ended up making two pins here is one of them.

I could not capture the wonderful array of colors under the high quality epoxy finish in this photo. I love the symbolic meaning of the butterfly and this one dances over a beautiful background. Necklace is adjustable from 16-18"
