Did you know that March is National Craft Month? Last year I challenged to myself to create something new every day in March.
It was a great experience for me and this year I am going to add a twist. Rather than create for the sake of helping my creative spirit, I am going to auction off everything I make.
The proceeds from this years challenge will go to: The Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County.
I encourage everyone to challenge themselves to create. If you would like to join me just include the Craft Challenge Logo on your blog or website. Don't forget to send me your link so everyone can track your progress as well.

How to Bid

Bidding is really easy. Just leave a comment under the item you are interested in.
You will not be allowed to leave anonymous comments. If you would like you name or identity hidden send me an email at crafterscafeinc@yahoo.com with your contact information and I will post a comment on your behalf displaying your bid.

Highest bidder wins, you will have 48 hours after bid closes to pay for your item. If payment is not received then next bidder will be the winner.

This is for charity so please don't bid unless you plan on paying. Shipping will be added to the bid price. I will ship items the most economical way possible.

I accept all major credit cards and Paypal. Special arrangements can be made for you to pay by check.

Thank you for your support and lets raise lots of money!!!!

Thank you to all the bidders

A warm thank you goes out to all the bidders of the auction. I had a wonderful and rewarding time creating. I only wish that more money was raised but, I guess as they say, every penny counts.

Total donations added up to $119.46.

Hope to see everyone again next year!

Sue.

My craft challenge is over, but bidding goes on.

I must say I was met with some extra challenges this year. March was not kind in the way of colds and stuffy noses. I did my best to bring myself to craft everyday but somedays the time just slipped away taking care of everything and everyone else.

I posted my final item but that does not mean the bidding is over. Please help the Family Crisis Center by bidding on the items that are remaining.

Thank you to all of you that have bid so far and to Cecilia Swatton and Becky Chabot for the generous donations.

day 30 shield pendant

This challenge has been harder than I thought - I have been really having a hard time creating this last week. So, today I decided to just play around with three colors of clay and nothing more. I choose the lime green because I have seen it everywhere lately from spring fashions to home accents.

Chain can be made to any length for winner.

Suggested starting bid: $10

day 27 - finally back

I have to appoligize for not keeping to my promise. The cold season hit my house hard. After catching up other obligations I finally had time to head to the studio. The long break did make it hard to get back in the swing. Feeling very uninspired I did manage to pull this together.

Starting sugessted bid: $10
On bid until 4/15

Bidding dates extended!!!!!!

You will have one more chance to bid on items that have gone off bid without a bid. All items will get a second chance and remain available until 4/15.

This is for a great cause and I have only raised $82 so far. That is well below my goal of $500. Some of these items would normally sell for $40 easily. I know that the economy has effected a lot of people, me included, but please consider how otherwise blessed you are and help a great organization!
